For a medium sized business an IT department can be a large overhead and allowing employees who ‘know a bit about computers’ to deal with IT issues (as many companies do) was not an option for our business. We relocated offices in 2004 and appointed Allteks to manage our IT requirements. They started from scratch installing the cabling for our network, upgrading our server and getting everyone up and running on the system . Remote access allows the partnership to work brilliantly as they are able to take control of the situation, and organize our daily data backup, monitor our server and e-mails.
